Also, club members are free to post this information on your Facebook pages and Neighborhood and meet-up groups’ pages.
Let’s inspire others to join our dance family so they can enjoy the benefits of fun and friendship with us.
WEBSITE NEWS: Sundown Squares now has its own website up and running with all the latest up-to-date information pertaining to club activities and business: https://sundownsquareslamesa.weebly.com
Let’s see what is happening around our town in the Merry Month of March:
MARCH 3rd: First Sunday is wearing of the club colors. Club colors are any combo of blue, orange and white. Go team Sundown!
MARCH 10th: Second Sunday is “PARTY POTLUCK DANCE NIGHT”. The theme is ‘The Ides of March’ so it’s TOGA TIME! Bring your favorite March potluck food to share, wear your March party toga and the rest will be history!
MARCH 17th: Third Sunday is always reserved for any of our special occasions that might be happening. In the meantime, we have our regular planned night of dancing and fun! Dance to the music of our awesome caller, Andy Allemao and equally awesome cuer Bill Hale.
MARCH 24thth: 4th Sunday Birthday and Anniversary celebration night. This is the yummy time as we share some birthday cake with the March birthday babies. Plus, celebrate March anniversaries with our special happy couples. We will sing and celebrate.
March 24th Bonus: Fiesta “Trail Out Dance”. Visitors from all over the country want to experience one more dance before returning home so Sundown Squares is how they could say “adios” to Fiesta until next year. Let’s give them a warm welcome!
March 31st: 5th Sunday is our square dance clothing recycling fair. Bring your no longer used square dance clothing to give away (no money exchanges). Everyone walks away happy. This can only work if everyone takes home what did not get scooped up as we have no means to store items.
EVENTS HAPPENING AROUND OUR TOWN THIS MONTH:
Saturday, MARCH 9th: Ruffles ‘n Beaus 40th Anniversary Dance at Balboa Park Club. Ken Shelby calling. Bill and Beth Davenport cueing.
